This video is a snapshot of the family films of Richard N Cech along with his wife Allene Rose from the 1950's. At the time of these films, Richard was living in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He and Allene, whose maiden name was Kubice, and originally from Czechoslovakia were married on 23rd September 1951. Childhood sweethearts, they attended the J. Sterling Morton East High School, Cicero, Cook County, Illinois. They had two children, Dougie and Laura. Unfortunately the marriage was not to last. Dick and Allene were divorced with Allene marrying Jack Harmon, becoming Allene Rose Kubice Harmon. The Cech family was apparently quite extensive with Victor, William, Violet and Dee siblings of Dick. Unfortunately Dick passed at just 66 years old in 1998 in Cedar Rapids, Idaho. Allene Rose, in her second marriage, became stepmother to Brenda and Matthew. Laura Cech, Dick and Allene's daughter married Victor Daman. It appears Douglas also married. Allene passed peacefully aged 84 in 2017 and is survived by her children Douglas and Laura, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren including Emily, McKenna, Edward, and Carolyn At the time of her passing Allene was living with her daughter Laura and Son in Law Victor.
